«After Rumble» ist eine Serie von Podcasts, die von den Künstlerinnen Line Chevalley und Léa Jullien aus dem Wunsch heraus initiiert wurde, zwei künstlerische Praktiken zu vereinen: Sound und Schreiben. Das gesamte Material von «After Rumble» schöpft aus der aufbrausenden Stadt und erzählt Ausschnitte des urbanen Lebens. Es sind Schnipsel aus dem Gedächtnis kollektiver Erinnerungen und jede Episode bildet eine schwebende zeitliche Abfolge ab, die in eine fiktive kinematografische Erzählung projiziert wird. «After Rumble» ist ein Film, der gehört werden will.



Line Chevalley, 1993 in Lausanne geboren, lebt und arbeitet in Zürich. Sie machte ihren Bachelor in Bildender Kunst an der Ecal, der Kunsthochschule in Lausanne, wo sie das Walter und Eve Kant Stipendium und eine Auszeichnung, den Ernest Manganel Preis, für die Relevanz ihrer Forschung und die Qualität ihrer Diplomarbeit erhielt. Im Jahr 2020 entschied sie sich, ihr Studium mit dem MFA, Master Fine Arts, an der ZHdK, der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, fortzusetzen.

Léa Jullien ist eine französische Künstlerin, die in Zürich lebt und arbeitet. Sie begann ihre Kunstausbildung in Valence und machte dann 2019 einen Master in Visual Arts an der Ecal. Ihre Praxis beinhaltet Installation, Video und Sound, um den sie umgebenden urbanen Raum neu zu interpretieren und sensorische und sensible Räume zu schaffen. Immer in Verbindung mit dem Urbanen und der Konstruktion, vor allem durch das Einfangen der Geräusche der Stadt, produziert sie experimentelle Musik unter dem Namen Tropical Vegas.

«After Rumble» is a series of podcasts initiated by artists Line Chevalley and Léa Jullien as a desire to unite two artistic practices, sound and writing. Drawing all its material from the city and its effervescence, «After Rumble» tells and narrates extracts of urban life. These snippets draw from the memory of collective remembrances and each episode maps a suspended temporal sequence, projected in a fictional cinematographic tale. «After Rumble» is a film to be heard.


Line Chevalley, born in 1993 in Lausanne, lives and works in Zurich. She did her bachelor's degree in fine arts at ecal, the university of arts in Lausanne, where she was awarded the Walter and Eve Kant scholarship and a distinction, the Ernest Manganel prize, for the relevance of her research and the quality of her diploma work.
